  1. It IS battery problems. I - ahem - dropped it on my bedroom floor (the machine) and it wouldn't copy, it came up with the same error. But I fiddled with the battery, took it out, put it back in, and it was fine. Hooray!
  2. Mine seems to be working now. I spent ages reinstalling and stuff, but then I changed the battery, and it was fine... odd.
  3. Tried it on another PC... no luck. Installed the drivers (not BeatJam), restarted, installed Sonic Stage (via the official installer), restarted, installed Simple Burner... it recognised my MD, but it still stopped copying about one and a half tracks in. Is it broken?
  4. Yeah, I'll try that later/tomorrow. I installed BeatJam afterwards - even that doesn't recognise my hardware. Weird.
  5. Yep. The thing in the 'Driver' folder. I didn't restart after I installed it, though. So I deleted everything again, and rebooted after the driver install... still no luck. Hmm.
  6. Done all that. But... Simple Burner/Sonic Stage no longer recognise my MD. Sob
  7. Well, I bought a Sharp DR410 the other day, and I've been having problems with it. If I try to copy a CD to iit - in LP2 mode - via Simple Burner, it always says 'Recording failed. A problem occoured while transferring content to the device' It goes fine for a while (copies the first track to 50%, then moves on the the next) but then it just stops. Do you think this is a problem with my hardware, or the software? As far as I can tell, burning on BeatJam seems fine, although I really don't want to use that - it seems arse. Thanks for any help.
