While my MZR700 was in the shop (broken solder connection in the headphone jack ! ) I started thinking about replacing it with a newer model. It is two years old after all !!
I think the netmd models came out about a week after I bought mine and I always thought I was missing out. But after learning about all the hoops you have to jump through ( check in/out ..etc ? ) I don't feel so bad.
I primarily use my unit to record internet radio, using my analog line in.
Since a lot of the songs are played without a silence break between them, when I skip a track I could be skipping over 3-4 songs easily.
This is why Sharp's auto track marking system ( 3, 5 or 10 minutes ) caught my interest. (Model IM-DR420) Reading the manual on-line, they only mention it on the microphone recording page.
Does anyone know if this feature can be enabled for line recording ? And can you hear a track mark in the middle of a song ?
