I tried to check out a song which the MZ didn't like, so it told me that it couldn't transfer it. I closed SonicStage and unplugged the player. I plugged it back in and restarted SonicStage only to discover a flashing "ERROR" message on the tiny little purple LCD screen on the device. Now I can't check in or check out. The device is detected, but the disc isn't. I called Sony and even they were stumped. I believe the error lies withing the disc, but how do I format it to start fresh?
Is there a way to force a disc erasure? Or do I have to go and buy a new 74 minute disc? And how do I avoid this in the future? HELP!
