Hey i'm new here but ive been looking around the fourms for a few days, anyways, I say definitly go with a hi-md player. If you have enogh $ to get an ipod you could afford one of the higher end hi-md units and you could just record music from anywhere without a comp. With an ipod your stuck with the same music but md lets you record from any stereo or radio you want. Well thats my opion take it or leave it
