  1. About the mz-nh600d Hi-MD player, will a kind soul will confirm or deny the following? The mz-nh600d player functions with: remote RM-MC33EL remote RM-MC40ELK
  2. Find questions with respect to the remote RM-MC40ELK: Will the RM-MC40ELK remote work with a mznh600d Hi-md player? Is technical data on that remote published in English on the Internet? Can someone recommend audiocubes.com which appears to have the best price on that remote? Thanks for the super posts. Best wishes
  3. If a person has a SS 2.2 installation with which he produced a SS 2.2 backup music library on an external HDD, can the person change or upgrade the CPU and later gain use of that SS 2.2 backup music library on an that external HDD? Thanks for the super information.
  4. Question--If I had lost my notebook CPU with SonicStage 2.2, could I get a new CPU and, after downloading SonicStage 2.2, load the existing music library from the external HDD?
  5. My WinXP computer went in for repairs after its internal HDD crashed. The music library is on an external HDD. After retrieving the computer, I've reinstalled SS 2.2 but SS 2.2 will not see the music library on the external HDD. Short of running the SS 2.2 restore routine, is there anything which I can do to regain that music library in SS 2.2? Would it help to uninstall-install SS 2.2 with the library on the external HDD attached?
  6. With my eye on the SONY mz-nf610, a couple of questions: [*]Is the unit's analog line handled in a standard cable? If so, what type of connector do I need on my shelf-audio equipment? [*]What setting of recording on the MD unit (SP or LP or the like) is appropriate to recording of vinyl records? Experts, my apologies if I overlooked the necessary information which resides almost certainly elsewhere on www.minidisc.org
  7. How do you avoid zapping the SonicStge 2.0 music library when you, for more space, move the SonicStge 2.0 music library to a second machine?
  8. Where does one go for support on SonicStage 2.0 to move a music library?
  9. We're trying to move a music library. So for my first post here, I present my assumptions. Please confirm or deny: -Instead of MiniDiscs of the music library, one should back up the SonicStage 2.0 library to a hard disc or to other removable media. -SonicStage 2.0 Backup/Restore is the best way to move the SonicStage 2.0 library to an external HD. -The SonicStage 2.0-Restore Internet authentication can pass through a server such as T-mobile's Hotspot Internet server. -SonicStage 2.0 Restore will automatically wipe out the old SonicStage 2.0 library. This isn't a test! I'm trying to treat the music library with care. Thanks in advance for help.
