Hey everyone, just got my new MD recorder. I loved the format while I lived in Japan and was happy to see some cool new models coming out in the states so I jumped back on the bandwagon. I miss being able to record straight audio without the ATRAC conversion though.
anyways my question is about the ATRAC conversion software. I was very pleased with it until I tried converting any file over a normal song length... such as audio book mp3s and the like. During conversion I get errors about 9 out of 10 attempts where the whole program crashes. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion, or maybe even a non-sony conversion program that someone came up with on their own that is more stable with longer files?

Oh yeah, not sure if it makes any difference but I have the Sony MZ-NH600D model and sonic stage 2.0.06.
