    To Matt or anyone else who might see this... I have the MZ1 but I bought the extended warranty from Tweeter that allows me to exchange it for a new model for free, I am assuming from what you said that I should do this ey? What I want to use my MD Recorder for is for 1 thing: 1. Record live music performances or demos and transfer that music to CD or Mp3. Will the new High MD allow that?

    I have the old high end MZ1 and the new himd models are coming out. Is it worth it to upgrade? Can you convert recordings from md to cd or mp3 or do I have to get new software?
