oh ya, i forgot. from what i read, is it true you have to have a sony viao computer to transfer them as mp3's??

thanx for that! i transferred the most i could and i got 38 songs, each song averages around 6 minutes. is that good?

i got a netmd player yesterday and was really eager to get some songs onto the md. its the mz-n42od (the cheapest in price out there) and i realized that whenever i transferred a song there was only 80 min. on the disk. i couldn't find the option to transfer them as mp3's so i can fit more. in the help, it said you had to have a sony viao computer to be able to transfer mp3's and that the option is unavailable with other machines. how can you transfer as mp3's in sonic stage and/or simple burner? please help me!! my comp is an amd 1800, 256 ram, 32 vid, os xp home edition my other comp is an amd 2500, 512 ram, 256 vid, os xp home edition (does it matter which one i use) thanx
