Hi, I'm totally new to this format - while I have a solid knowledge of hi-fi gear I am in need of some wise learned users who can direct me properly...I am looking to buy a minidisc recorder that can record high standard field recordings with future use to be used as source sounds for sampling (e.g. train ambience, metal crashes,etc.). i am not intersted in downloading off the internet, but would also like to use as to record and listen to cd's for pleasure. Microphone levels must be adjustable, not interested in having a speaker, doesn't have to be latest tech - just reliable and good fidelity. -Help :wacky:
