Hi There. I am from Australia and am interested in purchasing a mini disc. The main purpose would be live recordings of african percussion drumming, editing them and then transferring to cd's. Drumming sessions can lasts for hours on hours so would have to have the battery life and quality recording capability for this purpose. Have been looking at the sony's and are not sure if Hi MD is the go just yet. Any advice or recommendations would be apprecated. Also any microphone info appropriate to this situation would be great.
