i now finally got my replacement lid so here's a short follow up since there were no danish vendors of spareparts listed at the sharp page, i tried a UK based one: Willow Vale Electronics, located in Birmingham. dilevery was two weeks and the lid was fairly inexpencive: £8.50 for one lid, postage and VAT.

hello the battery lid on my sharp dr470 has suffered a fracture so it can't hold closed properly anymore. has this happened to anyone else here? is it possilble to order a replacement lid online and is it complicated to replace the broken one?
