I was trying to use my Sony Minidisc to download songs for jogging, but I had put my whole music collection into iTunes. Every post that I've read says that there is no way to use them together. Here's what I stumbled on... I have a home network. My host computer (desktop) has iTunes and my entire music collection. The only other computer on my network is a laptop. I installed my minidisc software (OpenMG and NetMD) on the laptop. On the host computer, I right clicked on every folder, clicked on "sharing and security", and enabled the folders to be accessed across the wireless network . I have a Linksys wireless router. When I open OpenMG on my laptop, now I am able to import songs from across the network into OpenMG and then check them in and out to my minidisc. Hope this helps anyone else who was going nuts like me trying to figure out a way to use the songs we have paid for. I just wish Sony and Apple would quit trying to keep us from using music the way we want. :grin:
