ahh just the link i was hoping for. Havent been able to find any proper comparisons anywhere else. Thanks but what of the 707 - 710 download problem. any thoughts?

Hi all, I'm brand new to this forum btw recently my trusty Sharp MD MT180 got stolen , so now i'm in the market for something new. The choice stands between the sony 510 and the 710. I can get them for the same price, the 710 a bit cheaper actually. My question to you is whether there is any real difference between the two apart from table-charger-thingy? I read posts about the 710 being really low on volume, is that the same for the 510? I checked out the sony site and I can't find the 710 anywhere only the 707, will that be problem when it comes to downloads etc? many thx in advance
