ive been using md for years now but i still have a normal non netmd unit because i prefered it at the time, but that is besides the point, my three questions are:
1. how important is the digital amp or lack there of on the hi-md units, in the gear section it says the mz-nhf800 does not have one but the units higher up do, and i was wondering what the main difference is in relationship to recording and listening.
2. will i be able to have data on a disc along with music, so like half the disc is music and half is data and when i plug it in to computer it still is recognized as mass storage device, and will i be able to boot off of it with a bootable linux distro such as knoppix.
3. is hi-md a good choice for live concert recording vs netmd or normal md and why?
