I've just managed to get my hands on a MZ-HN900 Sony HI-MD recorder today and have noticed a minor issue with it. When I put the unit on charge and play a disk in it there is a faint, but noticable, background hum. If I touch the metalic front of the case while the unit is charging the hum stops. This leads me to believe it is a problem with grounding. Just wondered if any one else with a HN900 unit has had this or if I have a dodgy power supply/recorder. Cheers Dave
