  1. Thanks Dex - I think I'll hold off on the new Hi-MD until that wave converter comes out. The procedure you mentioned is pretty much the same thing I do now - plug my player into my sound card, hit play on it and record on soundforge.
  2. I've had the N707 for a while and am happy with it. I record about 4 hours of live audio a week on the player, but hate the fact that for me to transfer it to my PC for encoding in real player or wav., I have to play it back real time into something like Soundforge. My question is with these new Hi-MD units, will I be able to simply "drag and drop" the recorded data from the unit to my PC? And futhermore, if it was recorded in the Hi-SP format, will I ever be able to convert the file to ra? wav? Let me know if it works cause I'm packaging the old unit up for an ebay auction as we speak :ohmy:
