I have a Sony MZ NH600 andI want to record from a microphone. My old MZR37 Minidisc recorded fine with a Sony ECM-DS70P stereo mic, but the NH600 barely works at all. If I wind the record volume up to maximum then it will record, but very faintly. The NH600 works fine for recording with all other sources. Is it because the NH600 needs some form of preamp for the microphones? If so, can someone suggest what I should get (hopefully something portable). Thanks Tim
