Sure - I tried a lot of different disc. All the same. I think it´s a software problem. My I need the defaults for the firmware??? I´ve got a service manual from Sony with reading the rety cause display but I understand nothing ... My display message is RETRY ERROR every time... thanx for help

My Sony MDS-JE700 plays every MD without faults. If I want to record music with this player, it doesn´t record. I can see the record level, but it doesn´t record. The record stop until 30 minutes and I hear nothing if I play the MD. I need help! :wacky: Can I reset the software from the MDS-JE700. Thanx :grin:
