  1. I'm having the same problem as you, StarCapt. It means everytime I want to add a track to a already created MD I have to initialize it and hence start from scratch. I will try the method above to see if data corruption is causing it. Thanks for suggesting that. I'm using Win98SE but I'm sure I'm up together with Windows Updates.
  2. Right, just got a MZNH600. Have no experience with SonicStage but it seems like it wants to take over your computer. Also, am amazed with with the amount of faff required to get an mp3 uploaded, but still I was coping until I went to add a new file to my already created Hi-MD. Now I can't read the disk at all. SonicStage says it's been 'initialized by other than SonicStage' so I need to format it to get it to work. After I've uploaded files, I've removed them from My Library as I don't want the Atrac files aswell as the mp3s in another location. Basically, refusing to use SonicStage for anything other than uploading. Having deleted the files from My Library have I deleted 'evidence' or something needed to recognise the disk? I don't really understand how it all works. So what's going on? Can anyone help me out? I've checked the protect tab btw. Many thanks for anyone kind enough to reply. Is there anything else to use other than SonicStage? It seems like I'm forced to do what Sony wants me to do. I wasn't aware of this when I bought it. Sorry for the rant. You've probably heard it all before!
