Unfortunately it didn't work so I guess I'm forced into sending it to Sony, ohh well maybe it will be done when I get back from Japan in a couple of weeks.

If by outlet you mean outlet power, then yes it is.

I have had my MZN10 for almost a year now and this is the first problem that I've had. When i put the MD on the cradle it doesn't come up with PC-->MD as it should, but when i take it off the cradle only then does PC-->MD show up on the display. I have tried it on 3 different PC's and i still have the same problem. I hope that someone can help me !?!?
