Well in all fairness, I'm looking at the packaging now, and there is nothing wrong with it, it says the discs are caompatible with Hi-MD Recorders, which they are. I guess it boils down to the consumer getting lazy, only reading the big bold writing and assuming it's what you want it to be. Tough sh*t, I fell for it too.

Well, double checking, they aren't the 1gb ones. Where can I buy them in the UK? And how much are they?

Alright, so these Hi-MDiscs are going on about 1GB of storage, so why are my minidiscs falling short at 300mbs? I've used sonicstage to put music onto minidiscs, at that 48kps blah blah plus thing, but I only get about 7 albums on, instead of the wonderful 45 as advertised on the box. Am I being cheated, or am I doing something wrong?
