I tried that, I went into 'Transfer Mode' then details, then 'automatically convert' and selected 256. Then I went to check the file on the recorder with the display and it says the file that was transferred is 64. So I'm not sure what the problem is, but right now the only way I can get it to download at 256 is by getting it to ask me each time it transfers a song...which is not very convenient.

I recently bought a a HIMD nh900 and installed SonicStage 2.1 . I have a lot of music on my computer, encoded at around 192, and I'm trying to get some music onto my MDs. I've figured out how to do most of the basic transfers, but I noticed if you click on 'Transfer Mode' in the transfer screen you can get some options that are a little more advanced. What is this business about converting mp3s to a different format? By default, SonicStage transfers music as HiLP. Is there any easy way to make my MP3s onto MD with HiSP without having to select them, right click, convert, and then transfer? Thanks in advance.
