the laser head and the motor, so laser head is like $120 can. and the motor like $30 + $80 of labour

It has problem with recording. The playback skips, but it doesn't skip with MD that i recorded before. I sent it for an estimation @ a repair shop recommened by sony. They told me $230 can.+tax for labour & parts. :wacky: totally surprise with the cost and lost now. don't know if i should repair it or not.. so came here for an advise. Thanks in advance.
