Inside the sony minidisc walkman range is two switches that control the machine and are operated by opening and closing the machine. By manipulating the machine you can recover or clone toc's on what appears most if not all the minidisc range from Sony. First hold the switch by the line out jack closed - insert clone disc - read by flicking the switch by the disk protect switch - play and pause - when disc stops spinning replace disc - stop machine - dirty disc name so it writes clone toc to disc when entered. LP recorded discs can also be cloned in a non LP machine. Lets hope this works for Hi-MD range too - I will know shortly.
