Hi,
Trying to decide between an Ipod , Net-MD, and NW-HD. I currently have a MZ-N707 , and really like the unit, but I am having trouble in justifying sticking with a Sony based product in the future
The lack of MP3 support is not a huge deal breaker for the type of use I want , however one the features I really like about the Ipod is the ability to create multiple playlists from the music that resides on the device. I have read that Sony provides very limited support for this functionality through the following features:
- 'grouping' which will move the track out of of its current group
- 'create compliation album' - which will duplicate the track on the disc
- 'bookmarking' - i don't kno a lot about this , but I'm not sure if you can have more than one set
In short does SonicStage provide an equivalent 'playlist' feature whch does not require duplication or movement of the tracks and instead is just a list of references into the stored music
Thanks
Trevor
