The player plays old discs that I've recorded before. It records from the MIC in line AND from my home stereo system....but NOT from my PC. I have completely re-installed EVERYTHING on my PC twice now, so that's why I'm assuming it's the minidisc player itself. It has just come back to me after being at a service center for 8 weeks!!!! It is a Sharp IMDR 420 Hs............DO NOT BUY A SHARP NET MD!!!

PLEASE HELP ME! I have now reinstalled Windows twice (-after a hard disk format), I have re-installed Realplayer and my bundled software (Beat Jam) several times after complete removal (registry entries and all), and STILL there is NO SOUND coming from my minidisc after the files are transferred. The status bars go across, the minidisc shows the track info and its length etc. but there is NO SOUND coming out of my headphones!! My player has been away twice now for repairs-I'm assuming it's still knackered? Could somebody please help me?

Hi, I have a Sharp NetMD (IMDR 420Hs). Things have gone really bad!! I can 'transfer' files, either with the bundled software, or Realplayer (which I much prefer). The transfer goes fine, status bars move and both programs tell me that the music is 'On Device', but when I listen to it, there's no sound!! The digital counter on the player is also going painfully slowly for some reason? I CAN record from a MIC or from the 'optical in' via my stereo, but not from my PC. PLEASE help me anyone? The bloomin thing has already been away twice for repair!! Is there some setting on the player or in the software? I'm tearing my hair out here......
