Ok i get to step 4 part two but i just can't get it to say MO OK, tried two different discs but still nothing, going to try and find some other spaers i have... Thanks for your help so far Kurisu Edit - Awesome now because of the test thingy failing I get an error when ever i turn it on... although this is no worse then whatr was wrong in the first place I still don't see it as any improvement. Can this unit be saved guys. You've been really helpful thanks, but what do you think i should do now.

Tried a different disc but the unit is still acting the same, it also does the same thing with no disc in. Is there no way through the service menu to completey reset all options??

Thanks for the posts guys, it's definatley not a software problem as my brothers minidisc works no problems, just my unit won;t play or connect. I have just taken the battery out and will see if anything is different by tommorrow. Thanks guys

Hi there I'm new to the forums and I have a huge problem with my disc. I was transfering some songs over to my minidisc and suddenly sonicstage froze halfway through and didn't transfer all my songs. After putting the dic into my brothers player i found that some songs have been transfered but others hadn't. Here comes the problem, the player i was using to transfer will now not work. When I turn it on I get the spinning disc icon and you just search through track numbers with nothing playing and no timer or title appearing. Is there anything I can do to solve this?? Are there any factory defaults I can check via the service menu?? Thanks alot guys Adam
