Hi guys, I'm in the market for a new minidisc recorder and I'm here to decide whether to go with the Sharp MD-DR77 or the new Sony NH1. I like the recording features and quality of the sharp much better than that of the sony (particularly the speed control, I don't mind the pitch change - I'd rather preserve the sound quality and transpose), however I don't know if the ability to upload digitally gives sony the big advantage. I'm going to be recording concerts, instrumental rehersals and performances, and any other stray events as a trombone major - mostly for my own private use - but putting recordings on cd and archiving my computer is definetly something I'll be doing. So I guess my question is, does Sharp's legendary recording quality and reputation still make it the better choice considering I'll have to upload to my computer via analog? Also I will be doing my fair share of playing on the recorder too, but putting the songs on the unit in real time isn't that big of a deal to me. Thanks alot guys for your opinions.
