thks syrius but i dont use any hub, i use directly from my PC to MD do you reckon if i install sonic stage 2.2 could be resolve ?

hi guys i'm new to this forum, but i know this forum had help many peoples:) now, ihave a problem with my sonicstage, i'm still using sonic stage 1.5, and i got Md MZ-NF619 type S the problem is when i try to upload the musics from music drive to my MD, there's a massage " device is not conected" i already connect the USB cable and i can see "Pc-MD" on my MD this never happend before. can anyone help me please ?? cheers guys
