First of all, hello to everyone at the board! Looks like a very nice place you have here!
I was wondering if anyone could help me: i have just purchased a black mznh900 Hi-MD minidisc player from amazon.co.uk, to replace my old Sony Discman which is skipping more and more despire the ESP2. Anyway, the new minidisc player looks to be great!
However, i have one question: Is the battery that comes with it an rechargeable AA sized battery, or is it a differetly shaped rechargeable one? Looking at auctions like this leads me to believe it is a thin square battery pak? It also come with a battery extension type-thing which allows a standard AA battery to be plugged in (a 'dry' battery pack?)
I would have preferred it to take standard batteries, as i have found in the past that supplied sony AA rechargeable batteries dont last that long. If this is a different battery type, will it last longer overtime/for playback?
I hope I got a good minidisc player, i was originally going to opt for the 700, but some 900 features(like uploading of recordings) made me change my mind. Got a really good price on it from amazon too £169.99GBP (with free sony case) compared with £250GBP in the shops.
Any advice/resposes you could give me would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
