He actually used my eggos...he liked the sound but couldn't get used to the over the ear feeling- he's enjoyed my MDR-V500s, but I want to get something nicer for him. I was actually looking at the Tri-Ports but now I don't think I will...thanks for your help so far!

Alrighty, I'm looking for a set of cans for my dad. I'd prefer for them to be studio-style because he will be enjoying his music mostly at home. However, he might use them when he travels to listen to CDs (and maybe an iPod), so if they were compact, all the better. My price range is around 100-150 dollars US and he mostly listens to classic rock (Led, Floyd, Dead, etc). Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

I have SS2 installed on my comp. When I DL new music, I'm not sure if it's imported directly, or will I have to import it on my own. If I do have to import, is there a way I can update my library where all the new files will be imported? Or will I have to sift through all my files and just bring in the new ones? Thanks....I'm still new to the MD world...

I just got them today in the mail (a week after I ordered them-not bad from JAPAN) Anyway, they're friggin' amazing! They're tiny, light (er) than I thought, good/smooth sound to them, they're made to be listened to loud. The fit and finish is great and the "eggo" design hugs the ear amazingly. I was walking across campus with them and I felt like I was really in my own little world with them on. People were checking them out and I couldnt feel the weight on my head (which can't be said for the MDR-500s). To compare them would be apples to oragnes, and I think that they're good at waht they do- that DJ thing/hardcore listening. These are like stereo/DJs for the commuter. It's a shame that they don't offer them here in the US, many people are missing out. I liked the accessories, that came too (the pouch, extender, and stero plug). Now I just gotta find out Japanese so I can read the box/warranty

Either fluid or wax buildup. Im a major in AT and from what it "sounds" like, that's what you got. How'd you get chronic tinittis? I usually occurs from a slap in the ear or a concussion...try googling these terms and see if any fit the bill: Rupture of the Tympanic Membrane Otitis Externa Otitis Media Impacted Cerumen You said that you usually prefer buds...that'd be a nice little way to force wax into the ear canal... My bet's the earwax buildup/infection- you can get drops and stuff for that to break it up, etc. Do you ever feel dizzy? If it's none of this, then it could just be the constant pressure that the headphones exert- i know that happens when i fall asleep w/ my MDR 500s on my head...

First of all, I'd like to say that the moderator's FAQ with getting this program to work is amazing. For a while, I couldnt get it to work, it (1.5)would freeze up, etc. So i got the new version...followed the instructions, and voila! it works. OK, heres the questions: 1) Where does the CD information show up when I insert a Cd? 2) Where do I make playlists? (is it the create/edit my compilation album?) 3) If so, is there a way to get the library to stay where it is when i drag it over to the compilation? Its really annoying when I have to start up at the top every single time. Thanks for helping the newbie.

I had to do a project for one of my classes...its terrible...and the sound loops and gets really obnoxious. I used dreamweaver and digital performer...I also snowboard: www.denison.edu/~nelson_j

I decided to splurge and treat myself to the 66s over the 22s (if you're gonna go, go all out...) I feel like these will treat me quite well, especially after seeing one of the moderator's review and a link to other reviews (audicube's) As for the securing to snowboarding...that's what goggles are for (ya just wear 'em outside the 'cans and they hold them in tight) Thanks for your help- I like it here...

Thank you for your response. However, I already have earbuds. I was looking more towards something with a short cord and was of a studio model.
