I don't know if I am in the right place to ask this question, but here goes. I just acquired a used Sony MDM-X4. I figured out how to setup and record song 001 onto a 140mb MD Data disc. Playback is beautiful. But I can't figure out how to start recording song 002. I have the manual, but I can't find any reference to start recording a new song beyond the first. No matter what buttons I push, or which direction I turn the jog dial, the display always indicates that it is on song 001. If I record again, it will record over song 001. How do I start to record song 002? Please advise.
