Looking for a portable A/D converter that has L/R RCA, 1/4", XLR stereo inputs and TOSLINK & SP/DIF outputs. Does Apogee still make the AD-1000? Any recommendations? Will this give a better quality recording if I am inputting with an optical input rather than the analog input on my MD? I use it for doing live room records. Thanks, Morgan Post
