It doesn't as a matter of fact. The import option only puts the files on the MY LIBRARY so that you can play them from Sonic Stage. Only when you start to upload them do the files get converted (or rather, an Atrac3 duplicate is made). You can also convert them beforehand, but Sonic Stage only gives you the option to covert one album at a time or one playlist at a time, not a mass-convertion of ALL music files on your hard drive. Therefore my post. I was wondering if there was a program or an add-on which can streamline this process.

Connect has a software download so that you can do a mass-convert of your MP3 files to Atrac3Plus format. It doesn't however convert to ordinary Atrac3 (for NetMD players) so I was wondering if you guys know of any programs that do (OpenMG Jukebox did this I remember, but now a download of that program is nowhere to be found). I already made back-ups of my MP3 files so I want to convert them all (preferably at the same time) to Atrac3 for faster uploading to my N10, and delete the MP3 files so that only the Atrac3 files exist.
