Im a journalist (a bit musician too) and looking at a minidisk to record my interviews and store them. I already bough a Sony MD-NH700 (I think I mixed up the letters but still, you know what I mean), and Im not too please about it. I find that the features are complicated, plus it's not compatible with Mac. I need something with a real good sound quality, easy to use (so I dont press 20 buttons when Im in a hurry interviewing somebody), with a good storage capacity (so I can also transfer data) and Mac friendly. It would be also a good thing to be able to edit files when you transfer them to a pc or mac. I saw that Sony release a wav conversion tool recently, what's really practical but still, It's really not made to make your life easier.
I looked on then net I've been interessed by Creative's nomads? Could it be a good alternative to Sony. Is there other company (or products) I should look at ?
