TURNS OUT THE SOLUTION WAS ELSEWHERE ON THIS SITE. SOME OF THE SONY PDF'S NEED ACROBAT 4.0 AND WILL NOT OPEN WITHIN A BROWSER. ANYWAY, MANUAL NOW OBTAINED.

Um! Doesn't look good. Seems I have the wrong version of Windows and wrong version of Explorer to install Acrobat 6.0. and I have no intention of upgrading this PC. May have to try downloading the manual at the office. Any hints about where I can try for a remote control?

Thank you for advice. I am on Acrobat 5.0. Having now now spent a fruitless hour trying to upgrade to 6.0 I am no nearer. Must keep trying!!

I purchased a MDS-S41 on Ebay at such a cheap price the vendor got upset and wouldn't send me all he promised!! A bit of a prob as I now have no manual or remote control - or the free MD's. I have tried for weeks to download the manual from this site but keep getting the message OBJECT LABEL BADLY FORMATTED. My Acrobat reader seems OK for every other site. I would be very grateful if anyone could either explain why I have this problem on this site or could email me a copy of the file or where else I can try a download.. Also, any recommendations where I can get a cheap remote would be welcome. I am desperate to get this working for the sound effects in a pantomime!!! Thanks in advance.
