I tried to install and it stops at the same point. Install launcher.Any other thoughts? Thanks

I am running norton anti virus. I just tried with everything else turned off and the norton. Same error. Error signatureis as follows: AppName: Setup.exe ModVer5.1.26000.2180 AppVer 2.2.2.17250 Offset 00001010 Mod. Name NTdll.dll

I have had numerous problems loading any of the different versions of sonic stage onto my computer. I am running XP pro and have SP2 installed. I was not able to install before SP2 was installled. I am logged in as Adm. during attemepted software installs. Software worked on my old system fine.,same copmuter but completly new harddrives and all new software installs. I experience an error that says "Install launcher has experienced a problem and must shut down. Any fixes out there?
