Hey raintheory, glad to hear that you never had problems, 'couse i have this piece for less that 6 months... now i kinf of know that i made a good choice. By the way... what do you mean with MZ-N707 (Hacked) Net MD ??? Is there any improvements i can do to the recorder ?? Hi all, i got today the error READ ERR on my Sony Net MD MZ-N707 and i totally freaked... I recorded yesterday some live stuff and today the unit wouln't work. I've seen on the web, really a few cases like this (4 pages on Google Search)... so i didn't have much help. After reading the service manual, the user manual, and the 4 pages on web... (nothing indicated the error)... i saw a little piece of metal (??go figure??) on the reader, inside the unit. Like somthing detached or broke inside the walkman ad got stucked (by the magnet) on the reading. After removing it, the unit came back to work great again. Daniel Leão Recife - Pernambuco
