i plan on getting the mznh600D hi-md player (my regular MD got ganked) i've a few items i need confirmation on. 1. SS is the ONLY way to get media onto your himd player. - yes, from what ive read. 2. When SS encodes into Atrac3, it doesnt sound as good as its mp3 equivalent. (i never noticed a difference, but whatever). - Not sure 3. Atrac3 encoding is capable of better quality. - not sure 4. If 1 was not true then someone could release a 3rd party piece of software that uses an improved Atrac3 codec that sounds better without using much more space. i dont suppose i really care all that much, but if there is 3rd party software, id much prefer it. corporations seem to make software FUBAR.
