Hey guys, I have had a Hd3 for a while now and have been relatively happy transporting files by dragging and dropping, and putting files on using sonic stage. However, i have a few pressing questions. 1. I have been highly annoyed by the fact i cant install sonic stage at work because we have an altered windows platform. Is there anyway to get it to work, or will sonic stage 3.1 work on an altered windows platform? 2. what is Open MG? is it part of sonic stage or is it another way of putting music on my hd3? 3. sonic stage always converts my files to .omg. is there anyway of putting them on as just plain old mp3? 4. I cant seem to find any alternatives to sonic stage. Are there any? are they any good? Thanks in advance me

i know that hi md is more versitle than the ipod. what i need to know is can u use the hi md player as a transfer tool. as in can i transfer files from one pc to another. for example from my work one to my home one. the other thing i have heard is that since md's use atrac not mp3 the upload time from computer to unit includes a lenghty conversion process. would i be better off going for one of the new sony network walkmans and buying a usb flash pen to transfer my files? thanks in advance
