  1. Haha, nevermind... I got it. Thanks everyone for their help and input.
  2. Thank you so much for the clarification. One last question (yes, I am very dumb) - what type of line (or wire thing) should I use to connect the MD to the PC? And is it commonly available in electronic stores?
  3. First, thank you for answering. I'm sorry, but I don't completely understand. What would be the "line out" from my Hi-MD (MZ-NH700)? Is it headphone/earphones jack? Also, what line would I use for such a connection? Lastly, I assume that the "line in" on my PC would be the microphone jack, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
  4. Hello, I'm new here. My brother (residing in another city) recorded a piece of music through a microphone to his Hi-MD recorder on a 1GB Hi-MD disc. Now I am trying to upload that song from the same Hi-MD disc (he sent it to me) to my PC, through my own Hi-MD recorder. I connected the device (with the disc inside) to my PC and launched SonicStage, and after clicking on "Transfer", nothing shows up. After clicking on "Properties" at the bottom and then "Cancel" to close that window, the following message shows up: "Cannot use this disc as an audio disc because it was initialized by a program other than SonicStage. Click on Properties to initialize the disc to use it as an audio disc." However, it clears states that after initializing, all the data will be lost on the disc. So my question is, is there any way that I can transfer it into my computer? If so, how? Thanks in advance, Kaoru
