  1. I'm glad that your unit arrived today. Do read the end of the first post for links to the firmware and what not.
  2. As per requested by daymouse, this thread is closed.
  3. Welcome to MDCF, daymouse! In SonicStage Ver.3.0 or later, the albums in My Library are automatically sorted based on the artist name and album name registered to each track. Thus, the structure of the albums stored in My Library changed accordingly. If the album name registered to a track was "A," it may be sorted into a new album for all tracks with an album name of "A." You can rectify your predicament easily, however, in a tedious way. Assuming the double CD set you have is called "A," you will need to manually set the album title of those tracks in question to "A." By default, SonicStage 3.1 organize your music by Artist, hence the chaotic breakdown of your imported compilation CD. One of our knowlegable member, jadeclaw has provided a thorough fix to this so-called problem in another similar thread. To quote jadeclaw:

  5. UMD is somewhat smaller in dimensions. For your convenience, here's a size comparative picture from my PSP pictorial.
  6. Welcome to MDCF! Regardless version of SonicStage, the software will never prompt one to select a language. Go ahead and reinstall SonicStage 3.1; and report back accordingly.
  7. ---> Denon DMD-1000 ---> Denon DMP-R70-S ---> MDS-JA20ES
  8. At this point, unless someone has a better suggestion, I believe your option is limited: you will need to re-initialize the device.
  9. Can you at least manually authorize your device outlined by the instructions above?
  10. Welcome to MDCF! It depends - as long as those characters in question are supported within the range of Japanese kanji characters.
  11. Welcome to MDCF! Do you know what model is the portable MD you have inherited so to speak? It appears that the tracks in question were transferred using its included software. I would suggest that you install SonicStage 3.1 to facilitate recording task. Click here and select your regional choice accordingly. Should you encounter any problems, please do not hesitate to post back according to the tech support posting rules.
  12. You do not need a transformer to use the RH10. Japanese RH10 comes bundled with 100-240V AC Adaptor.
  13. Here you go: Store Name: SONY SHOP DAITO Ltd. Management: Hamada Hiroshi Address: 4-15-1 Suzaku Building, Nihonbashi, Naniwa-Ward, Osaka-city, Osaka Prefecture. E-mail Address: info@eshop-daito.com Telephone number: 06-6634-0082 Fax number: 06-6634-0084
  14. Some members have resolved the recognition issue by installing one version of SonicStage 3.1 over the other. The Mp3 issues you experienced thus far is likely due to VBR incompatibility. Run a search within the forum accordingly for further details.
  15. Welcome to MDCF! Thanks for sharing and I'm glad that it works out at the end.
  16. Which language texts were you trying to import? Please be advised that Chinese text (use simplified Chinese whenever possible) is supported as long as the kanji text supports it. As for Korean language, it is not supported by the VAIO Pocket.
  17. The VAIO Pocket supports English, Japanese, Chinese*, French, German, Italian, and Spanish language. *Chinese characters are supported using the several thousand Japanese kanji characters.

  19. I will gladly take credit for the XD400 pictorial. The credit for a brilliant review goes to Damage. That's in my opinion a thorough ideal review. Most brilliant! How do you like your new 'phones?
  20. Indeed. The VAIO Pocket serves me well during long-haul flights; however, it's definitely not an ideal medium for serious photo storage. I had considered the Epson P2000; perhaps another time. As for serious photo storage, I use the Sony PCG-TR5B sub-notebook (approx. 3lbs) to compliment my EOS gear whenever necessary.
  21. Update: The VAIO Pocket as expected, does not support Hangul text.
  22. Happy Birthday dear chap! Hope you had the best time ever, Adrian. Cheers, Ishii
  23. Welcome to MDCF! You will need to use SonicStage to delete the tracks in question.
