I would appreciate any input..I posted this on another forum, but no replies yet.As you can see,I am a new member, so please be patient....I have the SonyNetMDMZ-NE 410 player.I haven't had any problems with it until recently, when I received an error message during recording.The gist of it was basically a recording failure, but now when I try to record, the lp2 /lp4 doesn't enable me to change the format, and the record button doesn't let me click on it to begin recording.I uninstalled the cd,also used anothercd to run the program with the same results.I appreciate the help..thanx!!!!!

This is my 1st post here, and have a bit of trouble with my player. I have a Sony Walkman MZ-NE410 player, and have never had a problem until recently. When I load my music in,the window to change from lp2 to lp4 doesn't allow me to change, and the record button doesn't light up to highlight it, so I obviously cannot record anything. I got an error message in the midle of recording the other day that said recording failed, or something like that.I have uninstalled and re-installed the Sonic Stage software several times, with2 different installation discs, but to no avail.Any suggestions? I had a problem with the latch on the player last week, but am still able to close it.Would that have any effect on the recording process??Thanks....
