    I am directly recording piano music and want to make CDs of it through my own Mac. I wonder how best to strip the SCMS from it; what do I need? what are the cables, or interfaces i need? There is no question of copyright transgression here.

    Has anyone tried ProToolFree? from Digidesign.com? I need some edit device to get part of a song burned onto my CD, and I was thinking of trying that, though it seems to be alot to figure out until it's useful. Any recommendations for something simple?
