It would be cool if the standalone installer would allow the selection of the drive letter to install on (seems to default to c:). Also, is it possible to force SS 3.1 to use another drive (not c:) as the location for My Library?

I have similar problems. (See post "Transfer Interruptions Nh1 With Sonicstage 2.3, Play juttery & labelling of tracks very slow") Installed Sonicstage 2.3 on work PC, the juttery play not a problem on this machine. But I still have tracks that SS2.3 refuses to play. It just pauses for a long while (some kind of timeout) and then just skips to the next track? Very annoying - is it hardware or software? Wish I knew another NH1 owner to try and swap players.

Playing and managing/labelling tracks on NH1 takes place w. many additional time consuming transfers between ss 2.3 and NH1. Result is juttery playback via ss and labelling takes forever with lots of flashing of the red REC LED. SonicStage 2.3 may even decide to skip tracks in the process like timeouts occurs. Any ideas why? Where may the cause lie: NH1, ss 2.3, USB cable. It is very annoying - old ss and N1 worked smoothly.
