I explain better my opinion about SonicStage software: I work with Computer from 1987: I use a lot of software languages, scintifics programs, standard programs (office, graphical elaboration, ecc...), and Music software (like Cubase, Nuendo, and audio/video elaboration), and every software have some little problem of installation, or settings, BUT are software with high potentially, they make a "big" work (think about one programs like Adobe Premiere Pro: Audio and Video editing at semiprofessional level), and this kind of softwares works well at 98%, in standard PC settings (harware and Software). SonicStage have ONLY to tranfer and/or convert Audio from/to one peripheral thru USB port! It's very, very simply today, there are a lot of free software and hardware make this very well and simply. Sony for fear of violation of copyright, blocks an hardware with big potentiality and probably will "cut the legs" at yours producs. I repeat: it's NOT SENSE! NEWS: If you install Nero burning Software complete (with InCD, and Nero Image Drive, ecc...) SonicStage NOT does work at all! If you have a CD od DVD writer in your PC, it's normal to use one software for COMPLETE use of hardware! But SonicStage NOT want! I have to make one partition with NO other software than SonicStage? Impossible: SonicStage not working in a PC with double Partition! And so on.... If any Software works in this way, we should must have ONE PC for any kind of software (one for office, one for graphical, one for video, ecc...). This is my opinion. I repeat, I like Minidisk (I have 3 hardware MD), and I hope that Sony changes its strategy. Hi, Alfio. (sorry for my english...)
