  1. Is it safe to assume this is sold? Thanks
  2. Thanks, Shoestring413. I've got my unit, thanks to one of our forum members (thanks John)!
  3. Thanks, tommypeters! Yes, I had already bookmarked those. In fact, the first one went for a great price...just let time slip by. The last time I looked it was an hour or so and I guess I lost track of time. I don't like to bid too early and drive up the price. Thanks!
  4. Looking for an MZ-R50. Color is not important. I'm buying this for work (a non-profit), so I'm looking for $50-$75 shipped if possible. A few scratches are OK. My main focus in the accessories (remote, rechargeable battery, external battery adapter) & the AC adapter if possible. I realize this may be a tall order, but nothing ventured.... (Also, checking ebay, just thought I'd ask here for anyone moving up. ) Paul p.s. Needing to purchase in the next week or so.
  5. Thanks, aeriyn. I think I'm going to stick with the R50 if I can find one for a good price.
  6. In your opinion, how does this compare with the R50? Thanks!
  7. Tank is good! ) Actually, I'm considering the R37 as well, again because of the build quality. I appreciate the tip! Well, most of it will be radio interviews, sounds, etc...occasionally, a concert. I like to have the freedom to do whatever I need. The USB is a good suggestion, but honestly, I'm used to having to dub realtime right now and the durability is more important right now. Thanks for the feedback, though. It's all appreciated!
  8. Currently, we have a Sony MZ-R70 which has flaked out. I've been thinking of buying something for myself to have fun with an occasionally record some audio for radio broadcast (I'm an afternoon DJ). So, because it's coming out of my pocket, I'm looking cheap. Because of it's durability, I had considered picking up a used R50. Any thoughts? I'd really like to keep the purchase under $100. If I need a better mic, I can use some from the station until I could afford one later. Any suggestions? Thanks. Paul // pmradio

    Wtb Mz-r50

I work for a radio station and am looking for a good recording MD. I've heard great feedback about the reliability of the MZ-R50. The station already has a R70 and it's been buggy (surprise, surprise! As I would be purchasing this with my own $, I'm looking for one relatively cheap. If you have one or better suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Paul // pmradio
