  1. Relax man...I was just explaining the way I got around this little issue. Also, I am very sure I was not missing any components, I believe it is some issue with my computer or something...the install file just would not work. And, I am very sure that installing the program this way will not harm your computer in any way. Of course, this is just my guess...but in my experience with computers...software like this doesn't usually harm the computer. Anyway, the order I installed the folders was: sonicstage, sms, shared lib, openmg, limitedpatch, Eula, Driver, and Addon. I am sure there are a lot of other sequences that could be used, and I'm pretty sure they won't harm your computer in any way. Now, about my installation being a complete fluke...you can judge that by attempting to install it my way. Of course, you do run the risk of "harming" your computer, so again, don't do it if you think my way will hurt your computer. Of course, I, frustrated with this piece of crap program, wondering if I would ever be able to transfer songs to my minidisc ever again, had no other choice but to "risk" harming my computer. And now, I have a fully working Sonicstage...no problems so far.
  2. Here, I found a quick solution to this annoying problem. 1. Uninstall the program and all parts of it in the link kurisu gave you. 2. Get the 2.3 connect installer and try to install the program. It will probably do the debug failing thing. 3. Go into C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\SSWebUpg\Extract\. There should be a bunch of folders and one setup.exe program that doesn't work. 4. Try installing the setup file inside each folder, except the launcher folder (I think it is for uninstallation). Restart the computer. 5. There should be a link to Sonic Stage on the desktop, and it should work. And, the drivers should all be set up, and the minidisc player should work. 6. Finally, you are done. Sit back and enjoy using this crappy Sonic Stage program.
