tried that. also it installs onto my laptop fine, and runs ok, but on my main pc, i get that message, i don't have a clue why..?

I recently bought a NW-HD3 MP3 player, which comes with sonic stage 2.3. Once i install SS and i try to run it, it says "Updating SonicStage Database, Please Restart SonicStage After The Updating Has Completed" and then does nothing. I have seen others with the same problem but they were updating from an older version and solved their problems by going back to the older version. Now, obviously i cannot as the original version i got was 2.3, so i was wondering if there are any other solutions to this problem or any specific reasons it wont run. Is there anything i am leaving out or overlooking? Any help would be appreciated Thanks, Danny
