MZ-R700 does the same thing, but stops at 8:00. Doom and gloom to all! Sure, I can get a quick quote for a news story... But I shouldn't have to carry 3 MDs in case somebody gets long winded and I get 24 Mins of audio! *Shakes Fist* PS: I'm using Sony MDs...

Yeah, its a common problem. My Radio teacher tells me (and I may be remembering this slightly inaccuratley) its the connection. Some Radio Stations in Halifax use the MZ-R700, but they had the connection resoddered and the whole player mounted on a piece of wood too keep the input from unessecary stress. Seems like a lot of trouble, but when you need reliability...

I have having a similar problem, at around 8:00 I get a 'DISC ERR' and the minidic begins to behave very badly and wont record anymore... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
